Few can be recognized simply by the sound of their voice. Even fewer can have it associated with a passion that they hold so dear.
For two decades, Vernon McCauley has done both as the voice of Greencastle-Antrim football.
Through his children’s ventures in athletics to a history-making run of a year ago, McCauley’s demeanor has presided over Kaley Field as the public address announcer.
