Christmas Day is supposed to be for festivities and good times. However, there is a bit of sadness for me and many other basketball fans over the age of 40.
On Dec. 25, 1985, Dave Zinkoff passed away.
For those too young to have heard his voice, he was simply the greatest public announcer who ever lived.
People may argue who the best basketball player of all time is, but no one questions who the best PA announcer was:
The Zink.
