No voice is more familiar to University of Massachusetts sports fans than that belonging to George Miller, its public address announcer at most major events.Miller, 47, hopes Boston Red Sox fans get to know him as well.
"I'm going down to audition Saturday, I'll do what I do, and see where it takes me,'' Miller said of his bid to become public address announcer at Fenway Park.
At least one other candidate from Western Massachusetts has entered the search. Joel McAuliffe, 21, will interview and audition Wednesday. read full story here
