Dear Fenway Park Public Address Announcer candidate,

 

As you all know, we have spent much of the past year searching for the next Voice(s) of Fenway Park.  Nearly 500 people expressed an interest in the position.  Of those, 341 individuals tried out over several days in recent weeks.  So many candidates brought the character, enthusiasm & passion we are seeking. 

 

It has been a difficult process to narrow down our selection, and it is with much regret that we inform you that you have not advanced to the next phase of this process.  We thank you for your interest in the Fenway Park Public Address Announcer position, and your continued support of the Red Sox in 2013 and beyond.
