After 12 years calling minor league ball in Charleston, becoming an unmistakable fixture at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park for many Riverdogs fans, Carrington tells the City Paper that it was his decision to leave, but that he did so "with a heavy heart," saying the change is still settling in. Carrington continues to announce baseball games at Patriot's Point for the College of Charleston.
