Stamina helps Rick Hendrick make it through the day during the summer because it's not unusual for him to work 15 hours or more by the time he drags himself back home.
In addition to being program director and on-air personality at a local radio station, he's also the public address announcer at Riverwalk Stadium, where the Montgomery Biscuits play.
Rain delays and extra innings can extend a game late into the night at times, but it's all part of a job he loves and wouldn't think of giving up.
He might not be a television personality, but his distinctive radio voice has made him a local celebrity, especially at grocery store checkout lines.
