Want to be the new voice of Orlando's bowl games?

After three decades behind the microphone, Bob Matheison, the public address announcer for Florida Citrus Sports, is retiring.
As for his replacement, it could be you!
Officials are holding a public audition to fill Matheison's place as the public address announcer for the Capital One Bowl and the Champs Sports Bowl.

"Bob has not only served as the voice of Orlando's bowl games, but as a past president of Florida Citrus Sports, and a community leader for the past 30 years," said Steve Hogan, CEO of Florida Citrus Sports. "He's been an important part of what makes hosting college football bowl games a special experience for all involved."

If you're interested in becoming Orlando's new bowl game announcer, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a Florida resident age 18 or older
Record a video of yourself reading a script provided by FCSports
Video should be no longer than 2 minutes
Video should be uploaded to YouTube
Once uploaded, submit your entry (YouTube link along with your name, phone number and email address) on the following Web page: fcsports.com/TheVoice.aspx
Three finalists will be asked to audition live at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium on Friday, Dec. 2, in front of a panel of judges.

The next announcer will be selected based on the live performance.
