Maple Leafs silence Andy Frost as public address announcer

Andy Frost is out as the public address announcer at Maple Leaf games at the Air Canada Centre.

Frost tweeted as much and a Leafs spokesman confirmed it. 

Frost told the Star team president Brendan Shanahan told him it was not a “firing” but the team was “simply not renewing” his contract.

“Cool with me!” Frost tweeted.
