The Orem (Utah) Owlz are seeking a game day PA announcer

The Orem (Utah) Owlz are the Pioneer League affiliate of Angels Baseball and are seeking a game day PA announcer. The league is short season and will consist of 38 home games. The Owlz have won four Pioneer League titles (2004, 2005, 2007, and 2009) and play in a stadium that opened in 2005 with modern audio and media equipment. The PA Announcer will be the voice of the Owlz on game days. The PA announcer will read directly from the game day scripts as provided by the community relations director. Game day scripts will include cues for each inning, required text from sponsors, and in-stadium promotions. Game day lineups for both teams will be required along with announcing batters and in-game changes. The PA announcer must be quick on his/her feet, add libbing is preferred. They will also be expected to work with the Owlz Promotions Crew at times during the game. Experience in broadcasting or announcing preferable; strong verbal & written communication skills + a working knowledge of AP-style writing a must; must be willing to relocate for the season to Utah.
