Jay Moran of Darien is in his seventh season as public address announcer for the Buffalo Sabres, one of many jobs he has taken on during the years. Moran, a native of Hamburg, also has worked as disc jockey, store clerk, news writer, bill collector, sports reporter and subsitute teacher. His day job is anchor/reporter for WNED public radio in Buffalo. He also does play-by-play for Canisuis College basketball and high school football games for WBTA radio.
