On Saturday, he will live a dream as the teams public address announcer at its home and season opener against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at James M. Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.
Schwartz will work all seven Cosmos home games in the North American Soccer League's fall season.
"I am extremely honored to have been hired by the Cosmos as their public address announcer," Schwartz said. "It's a dream come true to be able to work for a team that I loved growing up.
