High school PA Announcer fired for attending a rival's football game


Some people take high school football very serious. In fact, it is so serious that according to recent news, a public address announcer was fired from his job at a local high school for attending a football game of a rival school.

Rickey Callahan was dismissed from his 12-year job as a Holmes County Blue Devils public address announcer at the Bonifay, Florida school for a strange reason.

It is reported that principal Eddie Dixon fired him for attending a playoff game supporting local rival Chipley.
