The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that Paco Lopez from 1059 Sunny FM has been named the Public Address Announcer for Solar Bears games played at the Amway Center. John Magrino, who handles the PA for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Bryan “Bull” Sklover, from “The Buckethead Show” on 104.1 WKTS, will serve as alternate PA Announcers.
Paco Lopez previously served as the PA announcer for various professional and amateur sports teams, including the Orlando Magic, Orlando Miracle, United States Olympic Basketball team, and the WNBA All-Star Game. He has over 30 years of experience in professional broadcasting and is currently the midday personality on WOCL/1059 Sunny FM in Orlando, and was ranked #1 across various demographics in the July 2012 ratings.
