Prep football resonates with Tennessee Titans announcer Mike Keith

Mike Keith called his last football game of the season on Friday night. His last regular-season high school game, that is.

Keith is not only the voice of the Tennessee Titans, but also he returned to his high school, Battle Ground Academy, for every home game this season to serve as the public-address announcer.            

The Wildcats wrapped up the regular season with a 42-7 win over visiting Franklin Road Academy.

“My son (Matthew) is a freshman on the team, and the school asked if I’d do the games,” Keith said. “I said, ‘Well, I’ve got to be there, so yeah, I’ll do it.’ ”
