Ever want to be that voice coming from the PA during a Corpus Christi Hooks game at Whataburger Field? Now might be your chance.The Hooks are looking for a candidate with nice "set of pipes" and good inflection to be their fourth PA voice since April of 2005.
All you have to do is pre-register for tryouts with the Whataburger Field receptionist by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21. Office hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays. The next morning, auditions will be held at the ballpark beginning at 8 a.m.
The Corpus Christi Hooks are hosting tryouts for the Whataburger Field Public Address Announcer! Tryouts will be Saturday, February 22nd at 8:00 AM. Tryouts will consist of reading multiple PA Announcements, including a Whataburger Field welcome, Hooks lineup, and sponsor message.
Applicants MUST pre-register at Whataburger Field no later than Friday, February 21 5:00 PM.
