Many know her by voice rather than name, and that's OK with Denise Zimmer because she's not hungry for the spotlight.
The public address announcer for Missoula's showcase youth swimming meet, the Firecracker Classic, would just as soon do her part without a lot of fuss. Even if a fuss is justified.
Truth is Zimmer is a valuable member of Missoula's athletic community on several fronts.
