West Deptford resident Dan Baker, public address announcer for both the Phillies and Eagles, is among 15 slated for induction into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 8 at the Philadelphia Sheraton Society Hill.
The announcement was made at a Thursday press conference.
Baker, who has done PA for the Phillies for 41 years and the Eagles for 27, will be inducted along with 76ers' coach Doug Collins, former Flyer Eric Lindros, ex-Met Mike Piazza, and Maxie Baughan, a member of the 1960 champion Eagles. read here
