George Washington Athletics is proud to announce that Byron Hudtloff will serve as the public address announcer at the Charles E. Smith Center for men's basketball games in 2013-14. A 17-year veteran of the PA for GW women's basketball games, Hudtloff now assumes the role for both programs.
In addition to his work at George Washington, Hudtloff also serves as the back-up public address announcer for the NHL's Washington Capitals at Verizon Center, while being the assistant to the Capitals primary PA announcer. In that role, Hudtloff communicates with other employees to ensure proper management and cohesiveness of the organ, music, telescreen and announcer. read full story here
