Former Eagles PA announcer Dan Baker denied chance to thank fans

The Eagles, nearly run out of the Linc by lowly Jacksonville in a desultory 17-0 first half, rebounded to defeat the Jaguars 34-17 on Sunday.
Yippee.
But where was Dan Baker?
The West Deptford resident, unceremoniously cut loose by the Eagles last May after 29 years as the team's public address announcer, was honored by them between the first and second quarters at the opener.
After 29 years, you would think the affable Baker would be canonized.
He never missed a single game, regular season or exhibition, among the nearly 300 he was scheduled to work. His loyalties have never been questioned.
