Interested applicants should submit a resume and mp3 sample of player introductions, announcements or sponsor reads to athletic@uoregon.edu by Monday, Aug. 5. A sample script can be provided by UO upon request for those who do not have a sample mp3. Any questions regarding the position can be directed to that address as well.The selected announcer must be available to announce each of the 18 regular-season home matches as well as potential post-season play hosted by the university.
From the pool of candidates, two will be selected by Oregon Athletics personnel to take part in a live audition at the Green and Yellow exhibition match, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. Fans will then have the opportunity to choose which announcer they want to hear during the 2013 season.
