It's 30 minutes before game time at AT&T Park, but peppy public address announcer Renel Brooks-Moon is already at the microphone, doing her best to rev up the crowd.
"Welcome to the first of three games between the visiting Oakland A's ..." she says before taking an extended pause that allows the fans to unleash a hearty chorus of boos.
" ... And your San Francisco Giants!"
The boos instantly morph into boisterous cheers as Brooks-Moon switches off the mic and flashes a smile.
"That's always fun," she says of her calculated delivery. "I've got to let them get it all out."
