Surprise Stadium needs announcer for spring training baseball games




SURPRISE, AZ

Surprise Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals, needs an announcer for spring training in 2012.

Candidates must have knowledge of baseball, strong vocal talent and be able to enunciate player names.

The public address announcer position at Surprise Stadium is a non-paid volunteer position. Announcer must be able to work a 30 game spring training schedule; applicants with partial availability will not be considered.

Selected finalists will be invited to audition during the upcoming 2011 Arizona Fall League home games at Surprise Stadium.
