Mark Romig calls his first game as Saints public address announcer

A passing of the microphone occured Sunday as Mark Romig began his career as Saints public address announcer while his father, Jerry Romig, was honored prior to kickoff for his contributions during his 44-year reign.
Mark is a New Orleans native, lifelong Saints fan and currently the president and CEO of the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corportation and an active member in the community.             
Mark was settling into his new seat in the renamed "Jerry Romig House Control Booth" an hour before the game. There was a smile on his face and a new sense of excitment in the air as he was preparing for his debut.
