Tenino High football P.A. announcer Hal Williams has seen it all during five decades in press box

Hal Williams is 76 years old and has lived in Tenino since 1959, raised his three children there with his wife and high school sweetheart, Shirley. He also had a 34-year career as an educator in the Tenino School District.  

And yet in all of his years of following the high school football team – he has been “The Voice of the Beavers” for 50 years – Tenino has never played host to a playoff game.
