Man behind Padres P.A. voice



Frank Anthony could be ordering a cheeseburger at McDonald’s or asking for a pound of sliced turkey at Von’s. Someone is going to recognize his voice. More often than not, the person produces a quizzical look and says, “Have we met before? Your voice sounds familiar.” That’s when Anthony smiles and gets to tell them what he does. You may know his voice from his work as a radio disc jockey for more than 30 years in San Diego, including his current afternoon gig at 105.7 FM The Walrus.
