Larry Richert takes over as Steelers' public address announcer

PITTSBURGH -- This afternoon when the Steelers premiered their 2011 highlight film, the team announced that Larry Richert will be the public address announcer for all home games at Heinz Field.
Richert, a 52-year-old Pittsburgh native, is a long-time radio personality for  KDKA-AM (1020).
Richert replaces former Ambridge High School athletic director Randy Cosgrove, who resigned as the Steelers' P.A. announcer a few weeks ago.
