76ers are in the market for a Public Address Announcer

The 76ers will conduct auditions for a public address announcer Sept. 26 at a site to be determined. The team is replacing veteran broadcaster Tom Lamaine, who held the job last season.
"Tom is a consummate professional and his reputation precedes him with everything he has done," said Lara Price, the team's senior vice president of business operations. "We're looking to make it a more interactive experience with the fans than we had."
The Sixers have not made a definitive decision on having a mascot this season. There was none last season.
"The idea of having a mascot is still not dead," Price said.
