Reds and Indians are looking for a PA Announcer for spring training

JOB:  Public Address (PA) Announcer - City of Goodyear - Cleveland Indians & Cincinnati Reds Spring Training (Goodyear, AZ)

LOCATION:  Goodyear Ballpark is the Spring Training and player development home of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds


The Public Address (PA) Announcer is responsible for being the voice of Goodyear Ballpark during Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds Spring Training home games. This person will be required to announce all promotions, introduce players and correctly pronounce team personnel and sponsor names. The ideal candidate will have a great professional speaking voice with high energy and enthusiasm at all times. Candidates must be able to multitask, keep track of player changes and game progress and have a good understanding of the game of baseball.
Experience:
Prior experience with public address announcing for a major sports organization/venue preferred.
Hours:
Spring Training season consists of 34 home games, played from late February through March. This position requires you to have open availablilty for the entire season, including day, night and weekend games. Includes training in late February.

Start Date: February 15, 2013
